This honey is considered one of the rare honeys around the world. It is extracted from the nectar of the flowers of the frankincense tree. There are few apiaries in Somalia and the Jalid region in Palestine, and the best types are in the Sultanate of Oman

Dhofari frankincense honey

Produced by worker bees from the flowers of the Omani frankincense tree Hojri in the south of the Sultanate of Oman in the Dhofar Governorate. It is only produced in one season per year, the quantity is very few, and its benefits are many and magnificent. It is characterized by a wonderful  taste and smell, its color tends to yellow and dark.

 It has many medical benefits, and frankincense honey contains high levels of natural anti-inflammatory cortisone, so it is commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry.

And it has several uses in many fields such as medicine and cosmetics, and these uses go back thousands of years, not to mention the tree’s fame and ancient history.
